Watching The Atheist Experience may lead you to Hell - The Atheist Experience #704

Another long call with Mark, a member of the Austin Stone Community Church ( ), who expresses his fear that children who watch The Atheist Experience will literally burn in hell.

Mark previously called in during show #695 (with Russell Glasser and Martin Wagner) and show #696 (with Matt Dillahunty and Jeff Dee). This appears to be the same caller as "Andrew" from show #686 and "Mike" from show #693.

This is a long excerpt from The Atheist Experience #704 of April 10, 2011 (topic: "a couple of news items") with Russell Glasser and Tracie Harris. The complete episode is archived on

I found the quote at 26:25 really chilling: "They (the parents) would sooner disown their kids - kick them out of the house - than watch the Atheist Experience with them."

The theist was sincere in his beliefs and concerned for his children. He sees Atheists and Atheism as a threat to his family and referred to hatred as expressed by his congregation. I think the presenters being former religious people handled it well. I hope his churchs global mission doesn't do too much harm to anyone. The show was entertaining and I have bookmarked this page.

Is there a show specifically for Atheists and people who have never embraced religion ?

I hope they'll get to hear from some of these youngsters they're "leading to hell."  I'd love to hear their perspective!
