There's nothing wrong with welcoming & promoting female science channels; in fact it should be encouraged. However, instead of a radical feminist like Watson, why not another user like JaclynGlenn or ZOMGitsCriss (the later, admittedly, I've had some disagreements, but she's a far superior content provider)? Let's face it: the internet can be a nightmare at times, but that does not mean one should be discouraged from making videos (unless of course their lives are in legitimate danger), let alone going on a social justice crusade like Watson at secular conferences. I feel that, speaking from a contrarian viewpoint, that this response needed to be said. Again, this is not intended to be a hate video, but an attempt to try and understand one's position.

References:
Science YouTuber Delivers The Perfect Response To Sexist Commenters
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/12/03/brain-scoop-comments-emily-graslie_n_4378420.html
Some Creepy Dudes Said Some Creepy Things To This Reporter.
