J'aime la dame qui a présenté la vidéo. Elle a mangé du fruit de l'tree of knowledge »et veut le partager avec d'autres personnes. Malheureusement, certaines personnes n'aiment pas le goût du fruit et n'en mangent pas. Ils croient une entité surnaturelle leur a dit de ne pas manger du fruit ou être torturé pour l'éternité. Par conséquent, la bonne dame leur a donné «tree of knowledge» pour Noël. Elle espère que plus de gens vont manger le fruit et ce se libérer de la tyrannie imaginé.
Bientôt le fruit deviendra populaire et sera disponible au supermarché.

just seen this video/movie...it was good...the idea (Tree of knowledge) is such bright that in our Afrikan case/context/situation it could stimulate book reading/book loving..!
Happy to have seen covers of some books i have been through...Living without religion by Paul Kurtz...Likewise Sam Harris's end of faith...
Congratulations for that the good work that was...of a good idea...

This video is very well put together. Everywhere I go I feel cut off from my world. So it is very comforting to see and listen to logic thinking. I wish to live among such a group; Where I would feel connected back to the existence. There are an endless stories I have encountered by theists; They made my life a living hell. Their approach is: Believe in satin, act evil to prove there is a devil, and that suppose to make, or force an atheist worship their gods.

Great Idea.  and to the woman on the video who thinks that the tree of knowledge is disrespectful to christians at their special time of year, I have to respond with: how respectful are christians to those of other belief, or non-belief systems?  I am so tired of the "god hates fags Rom 9:13" signs as well as the generally disrepectful behavior of the westboro baptist church in their protests at gay funerals.  I am not gay or a minority, but that kind of thing really pisses me off. 

I was very glad to see "the end of faith" by sam harris on the tree.  I am reading that book right now and it's awesome!

We must not let the public forget about the secular nature of government -- equality for all -- no matter what time of year. Our existence is acknowledge with participation. We are not forced by community pressure to retreat and disappear. We stand for something -- knowledge. Our mission of education and diversity appreciation are expressed fully with a Tree of Knowledge.

fantastic work. Its so important to do this kind of thing. I guess I see a bit of a danger of equating atheism with a religious, as if its just another faith, which is also absurd. Atheism is not a religion. I think the most compelling atheist expressions and symbols are things like a public school, democracy,civil rights, human rights etc. Religion is diametrically opposed to these things. Religion needs symbols of torture, oppression, human depravity, and condescention. If we place atheism on the same plane as religion, are we in danger of threatening the symbols I mention above in that they might be fairly regarded as "faith based initiatives" and thus subject to the same seperation of church and state? From the perspective of religious nut-bars, our schools, science, and civil rights initiatives ARE based on atheist faith, and they go around trumpeting oppression and using that to knock cracks into our institutions.

As a human I long for a symbol as much as the next person to express myself, but isnt the fact that you live in a democracy with public schools, civil rights, seperation of church and state, and all these "atheist/humanis ideals" enougn without poking the various unstable and insane religious people in your community in the eye?
