Wow, I'm jealous ! I would have loved seeing it live. It seems to me that it was such an uneven debate. The pro-Catholics on the panel were weak, their arguments lacked merit and they were no match for Hitchens (who, by the way is my hero) and Fry. Hitchens and Fry are so witty and quick on their feet, it was sad to see that the Catholic Church could not have even come up with two worthy opponents who could have matched Hitchens and Fry's intellect.

I just want to say. I was there in the room. It was awesome, about twice as long s the recorded broadcast.

This is one of my most favorite debates of all time. Hitchens and Fry are simply amazing ! Their arguments are flawless and they are full of those pesky "facts" that the Catholic Church is so afraid of. Great debate.
