Yes thinking for yourself is a good thing, I love doing it as well. It's amazing to observe all of those that think they are intelligent, because of the words they use and so-fourth, but when you really listen to all the conversations they're all the same conversations, with different *extravagent words, as to mask it as if it is a new way of thinking, and to be fair this happens on both sides of the fence, ie; religious and ateistic arguments. This conversation (debate) seems to be stuck... If you were to put the whole documented history of this very debate on a loop you would see just how repetitive it is. People are afraid to truely think for them selves, and to say things that knowone else is saying... Why do we play it safe? Is Ateism "all" about science? , or Is it about the brain-washing of religion? Are there signs that explain the plan of religion? How do we prove the myth of religion? I think atheism needs to blaze a 3rd, 4th, even 5th trail in the dismissal of religion, attack it (civily) from more angles than just evolution, which to me is a self observation once other observations are realized. Life is all about the subtlties, which is what most of us overlook or miss completely.

Sorry about the ... blah blah blah ... just trying to share a perspective.
