"That's Not Fair" by Reverend Wayne Arnason. The unfairness of the world, for young and old alike, can be summed up in the title of this sermon. In response, author Dennis Wholey states, "Expecting the world to treat you fairly because you are a good person is a little like expecting the bull not to attack you because you are a vegetarian." Do we believe that being "good" somehow shields us from suffering dealt by an unpredictable world? What can we learn from the unsettling experience of unfairness?
