Comment by The Flying Atheist on March 27, 2013 at 2:04pm: I'm always impressed that in the UK, they have these television discussion panel shows that explore serious topics in a sane and orderly manner. Here in the US these types of topics are relegated only to a side-show style shouting match resulting in unintelligent personal character attacks.

Thanks to Richard Dawkins for ALWAYS keeping the standard of discourse extremely high.

If you need the threat of hell and the promise of heaven to be a decent human being, you have no ethics at all. True morality is doing what is right because it is the right thing.
