Comment by Joan Denoo on February 15, 2013 at 12:02am I was able to watch parts 1 & 2. There are not words to express grief the Roman Catholic church imposed on the human species and did so for years and years, without prosecution, conviction and penalty. Living in mansions, or retreating into some sanctuary is no penalty. This is a time when I wish there were a Hell for those who abused boys and girls and I wish the eternal damnation is as horrible as art shows it to be.
One of the things that disgusts me most is the notion that these men thought of themselves as entitled to do what they did. They used just about every sick delusion one could think of to deny their crimes.
Another thing that continues to this day is the notion of forgiveness. There should be no such thing as forgiveness; they are not worthy of forgiveness. Betrayed and then to forgive reveals as deeply imbedded mental illness as being a betrayer.
Napoleon, I am glad you were able to post these two videos; I tried to find other sources for the films and am blocked at every turn. You did us a service.
Loren, I agree, take the time to watch and think about what this film means.
Thank you so much for sharing such an interesting and claryfing documentary.

Mea Maxima Culpa - Silence in the House of God (part 2)
Comment by Napoleon Bonaparte on February 12, 2013 at 10:23pm I will download it and replace it if YouTube takes it down.
Comment by Loren Miller on February 12, 2013 at 10:13pm I will take a guess and say that either the producers of Mea Maxima Culpa or HBO will sooner or later complain about the movie being posted on YouTube and take it down ... but for those of you who haven't seen it, take the time and do so.
It's necessary. It's ugly as fuck, but it's necessary.

Hello fellow atheists! I have joined this site in an attempt to find other rational individuals, such as myself, and to promote a current charity drive that I am trying to get going for the Oklahoma tornado victims. I have managed to get many groups from around my area, including the Beyond Belief Foundation to back me on this endeavor.
I am located in Newnan, Ga and have my own atheist group entitled "Coweta County Atheists". I am currently being backed by Spaulding Co.…

There is a video of the Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film. The man isn't demon possessed, there are likely no 'real' demons. He's just delusional and doesn't want to accept personal responsiblity for his own behavior for his own dysfunctional life.

There is an ad that reads ' Do you support 'traditional' marriage? Vote Now"! .
No, I don't support 'traditional' marriage because there is no such thing. I support heterosexual and same-sex couples marry each other legally , yes. 'Traditional' marriage promoters largely do not believe that heterosexual women are co-equal to their husbands. Their only purpose in 'traditional' marriage is to sexually satisfy their husbands if they can and raise children and do all…
