We know of one Republican candidate who claims to have heard it: Rick Santorum. And he said the views expressed by President Kennedy wanted to make him "puke."

I wonder how many of the Republican candidates of this past election have heard this speech and would be willing to subscribe to the rigorous discipline which President Kennedy prescribed for himself, regarding the place for religion in his life versus his duties as the Commander in Chief. I am dubious in the extreme that any of them would remotely consider such a discipline.
This video should be required viewing for ANYONE running for office, certainly for high office.
