Oh, but we're supposed to dominate the earth and subdue it.  The head honcho himself said so!

The insistent, repeated, and unmitigated stupidity of these and other putative representatives of the aforementioned "head honcho" is honestly frightening to me, particularly in that they have no empathy for any other than their own kind and are clearly unwilling if not unable to change their minds about this matter.

What is the most disconcerting of all is that, one of these days, one of the bolder of this ilk will attempt to put their rash words into action, an event which could get MAJOR LEAGUE UGLY.

I agree with Tammy,

The Earth does not sustain a human population of 7 billion and increasing fast. A fair estimate is that one fifth of the population cannot attain an adaquate standard of living.  Other species, with their habitates destroyed, are becoming extinct continually and barely surviving in the wild.

We need factory farms to feed us all and I think that we are now a verminous species chewing up the planet.

I wish humans would evolve beyond this mental weakness, before it destroys the species. This belief breeds mean, weak minded individuals who endanger all of creation.

To me, these religious professionals are totally out of order and , you are right, rely on the general populations belief in the supernatural to push the idea that a book is the word of a supernatural being. If people would just think about it they would realize the notion is absurd and in turn dismiss ther ridiculous dogma of the Bible and people like Pastor Curtis Knapp. One way of raising awareness is to publicise/adertise these ridiculous quotes from the 'Good Book'.
