Yes he was a guy, who made a lot of money.
He was a fraud, but he was not an hypocrite. He agreed that he was after money and all materialistic pleasures. Is denying the fact that we are not materialistic, tantamount to being an hypocrite to one self. But despite knowing he was a charlatan,we were attracted towards his thoughts, because what he said made sense. We agree with ace on his dress, he should have preached nude lol.

I wonder if the length of the beard is a sign of intelligence, of maturity. But then, what if it smells like beer? And if it'll be okay if I braid it, or knap it into dread locks. I wonder if it retains the smell of marijuana? What if I slow down my speech and use high gestures. And a matching hat to go with my neru jacket. I can do this. I too can appear intelligent... if I can just grow a long gray beard!

Aha! The guru formerly known as Chandra Mohan Jain AKA Acharya Rajneesh AKA Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh AKA Osho. This video is ironic, considering that he named himself Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, meaning ‘The Blessed One Who Has Recognized Himself As God’.

Maybe people who are younger than me won't have heard of this charlatan, his 93 Rolls-Royces, his followers committing the first act of bioterrorism in the US, him fleeing India on tax evasion, etc...

I understand him. Unfortunately he has a presupposition that evolution is necessarily a process of advancement, making the concept of creation unfinished. He's just given a strong argument against the biblical account, but not against a creator god. But I like that people are thinking about these things much more.
