As my pappy used to say, "Consider the source." Mr. Fischer is the Director of Issues Analysis at guess what organization. Are you getting warmer? Hey, it's the American Family Association! AFA was founded by none other than the ole' Rev. Donald Wildman - a Jerry Falwell wannabe. Wildman's claim to fame came in the 70's and 80's, when he boycotted TV shows such as M*A*S*H, and Three's Company (come to think, Three's Company was pretty lousy), along with Walt Disney and anything that didn't pass his sexually repressed moral standards in the name of the Great Jewish Zombie.
The great irony of Wildman was that he was born in Dumas, Mississippi (Think Shawshank Redemption here).
I listen to this crap on the radio just to get my blood pumping.
I grew up going to church at a reallly booble based church, and I don't recall the booble mentioning anything about turning gay people straight. Did I miss something? I always thought I was just a plain old abomintation. I didn't know I could change!
So, it's okay to be bigots against gays and not allowing them to marry and claiming that it is a psychological problem is not a hate crime at all...
But standing up for gays and gay rights is bigotry? and... supporting gay marriage is a hate crime against straights? WTFingF???
It's people like that that make me lose what little faith I have in humanity.
