Father what's-his-face strikes me as being one of those people who is acting like a dick because he likes the authority he wields and he can get away with it. People like him have lost what meaning there may be in religion. He knows the notes, but has no idea of the song.

I have to be careful with what I say about Catholic faith because my one of my truly most favorite people in the universe is Catholic, having been raised in that faith in the Philippines. Still, the bigotry, opportunism, corruption, and dishonesty of the catholic priests/bishops/cardinals/archbishops/pope never fail to get my blood pressure up. Individual people = individual people. Catholic church = corrupt evil empire.
