It use to be thought that the quickest method of creating a trans-orbital lobotomy was to insert an ice-pick through the back of the eye and give it a wiggle.

In the 21st century we have refined such brute and ugly methods into an half hour of the the most corrosive stupidity on British TV which is guaranteed to kill brain cells, whilst leaving the subjects still alive.

Safety being a relative concept, here presented is an 11 minute segment of The Big Questions broadcast on 29th May 2011, on BBC 1 which shouldn't induce major haemorrhaging but might give you a bad headache from all the STUPID on display.

It makes my head hurt.

Yes, pretty stupid. However the BBC is still fantastic and this is still a fair distance from the awful inanity of 'loose women'.  

What the... what did they just say?... I think they just said money doesn't exist. That's new, but they're not exactly doing anything for their "we're not idiot's" case there.
