Save yourself 2 hours and a lot of facepalms... this is gist of the recent "debate" between atheist Matt Dillahunty and Christian apologist Sye Ten Bruggencate.

Sadly, bobh, that's precisely what Bruggencate deals in.
Bruggencate`s reason is circular nonsense.
Skip to 10:28 if you want to listen to anything remotely resembling logic or honest argument. At the risk of sounding horribly angry and violent, how would it have been if, leaving the debate venue, Sye had been accosted by a gang of youths, who threatened to take his valuables and leave him bloody and near-death in some alleyway? Do you suppose he might argue something to the effect of "how do you know this is real?" ... or would he recognize that in a world of practical reality, he was in deep sneakers and all his arguments were vacuous?
Wow, that was... painful. Thanks for the summary.
Are there any debates/discussions/whatever out there where the theist makes interesting points? I can't believe "I'm right because I'm right" is the zenith of theistic thought.
