You know, I just love it how the Daily Show mocks Dick Cheney by calling him Darth Vader! I'm gonna have to go and rewatch my documentary on the French Revolution, to remind myself how the general populace got behind the idea to throw aside the monarchy. Oh yeah, they were all starving. Is that really what it is going to take? I sure hope not....

Yeah Ruth, precisely. We thought we had left the injustices of ruling elites far behind us. Well, in the great scheme of things, 200 years or so is not really a whole lot of time. We still have SO MUCH WORK TO DO! When 200 people are battling it out to buy the government, it's time we made some major leaps toward a more just socio-political system.
