About Me
I AM CHRONICALLY BEMUSED. . .
. . .BY HOMO SAPIENSIS TYRANNUS !

I am a 'religious' Naturalist, a Cosmonist, a Pantheist, a Bright and a non-theistic 'believer' in the Cosmos. I'm godless (a-theistic), yet deeply reverent regarding the eternally creative and sublime source of all, our Cosmos. My daily religious observance is mindful contemplation and observation of What IS.
THE EARTH IS SACRED, THE COSMOS IS SUBLIME.

But , HOMO SAPIENSIS TYRANNUS is commodifying everything that exists on the planet for exclusive, PRIVATE profit! What's a symbiotic Pan Sapiens to do? Pray for providence/deity to intervene and wait for "justice" from a higher power? Pretend there is no difference at all between billions of human beings, that the observed and recorded behavioral differences between socio/political groups ("US and THEM") don't really exist? What is, IS! To ignore or belittle the very real psychological/social conflicts between Homo sapiens and Pan sapiens is to relinquish vast territories of human activity to the psychological manipulation of elitist, Homo sapient totalitarianism. Whew! Okay, I'm finished for now...

GREAT ATHEISTS' QUOTES # 1 - H.L.Mencken

Henry Louis "H. L." Mencken (September 12, 1880 – January 29, 1956) was an American journalist, essayist, magazine editor, satirist, acerbic critic of American life and culture, and a student of American English. Mencken, known as the "Sage of Baltimore", is regarded as one of the most influential American writers and prose stylists of the first half of the 20th century.Continue

Do you know if posts are moderated here (on the forum or discussion board)? I find it a bit off-putting that one has to swear to being a non-theist, but then I'm sure they've had plenty of problems with evangelism. But perhaps they could require one to swear to being non-evangelical instead?

Hi P.S. ~
It wouldn't hurt a bit to learn about Pantheism, my dear child! Here's a head start:
Modern Pantheism
Basic Principles

And here's a Yahoo group you can join to have all your questions answered:
Pantheism Intro

BTW, Atheism and Pantheism are very compatible worldviews...

Haha, adopt away, P.K. Hmm, pantheist, eh? I've never really considered myself as such, but it sounds interesting.

I'm never happiest than when I'm in nature- I have a deep respect and love for the world that exists around me and try to soak up as much as I can rather than anxiously waiting for some 'second-coming' or something. How can some mythical heaven be any more beautiful than what's already in front of us?

I think that's what had drawn me to Wicca when I was younger, but I just couldn't accept the reality of all those gods and goddesses. I still like to perform some of the rituals at the turn of the seasons, but I mostly enjoy the stories from different cultures that try to explain natural events.

BTW, I love the pics on your site.

Oh, I already know all that, Jerald - I've been a member of the Religious Naturalism group for a couple of years now and I've seen the very colorful website you made for us. How is your Neo-Pantheism ideology being received by the R-N crowd? Were you at Star Island this summer?
