There's gotta be a way for you to get Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris to promote this site on theirs. Even if it was just adding a link, like PZ did. Membership would soar, worldwide. That would be great.
i am assuming that once you accept my friend request i get your home phone number, all personal information and i can feel free to call you 24-7 if i can't sleep, need help finding my car keys, and just want to chat... ahahahaha
hi Richard, belated thanks for adding me! Cool, you escaped the Dark Ages of mental derangement. My inspirations: music, literature, animals, nature (and universe...Sagan-admirer, too). 'I believe the next step in humanity's evolution...'= I certainly hope so!!! Greetings from cold-rainy Germany!
Hi Brother Richard, I notice on the main page you are still calling for volunteers - but there is no link to where you can offer to do so :) I am willing to do anything to help, I've had an enjoyable time since joining and feel it is a marvellous site, meeting an obvious need lol.
I don't have any of the technical or legal skills that have been called for, but do have time to serve as a representative, moderator, promoter or in any other way that might be useful.
Well done on taking up such a huge task, I hope you haven't given yourself to many headaches :)
I am originally from Alabama. Now I am living in Cali and was freed from the culture of Christianity that is so strong in the South. Being a new born again again person, it is nice to find a place with like minded peers. I sent you an offer to volunteer as I want to see this site be successful.
Brother Richard! From a fellow Southern atheist, thanks for making all of this possible! Atheist Nexus is a very valuable tool for those of us who don't have the opportunity to meet other atheists out and about in our everyday lives.
If you'd like to, I'd be thrilled if you joined my Atheist Photography Club here on your site. It's for photographers and those who appreciate photography. There's truth in photography just as there's truth in reason.
Thank you for your comment on my post. Fortunately, I found a group for feminist atheists right after finding that one. It's small and quiet right now, but hopefully that'll change if more people join.
changing subject a bit, brother Richard, were you aware of the fact that there have been some groups deleted without previous notice?
Okay, as this is a private site I accept the fact that we have to play by the rules imposed (for example, not using the "f" word)BUT it would make a world of difference if the members of controversial groups were notified first so they could modify their group in order to adjust to the norm.
