It depends upon the person, I guess. Some people focus more on the negative things that happen to them.
Either way, though, you get a whole lot of confirmation bias, and God is either blessing them or pissing on them. Either perspective leads a religious person to believe more firmly in a deity. God wins, either way.
Oh wow. I was just glancing through some of your Latest Activity list. So, you broke out of Romania, which is a crazy religious country, despite the secular constitution, and then ended up in England, a largely atheistic country, only to find yourself in a pocket of religious nuts.
