Yes there are quite a few atheists in the area. Living in a liberal oasis is kinda nice no one seems to care.

Anime and Tenacious D fan? Atheist that never believed to begin with?! LOL, seems to me we already have a lot in common man.

Nice to find someone else who never was a theist. I thought I was supposed to believe and actually tried to believe when I was very young, but stopped trying before I stopped believing in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. I kept my non-belief to myself until my later teen years. My father has never said anything about his beliefs either way and my mother referred to herself as an atheist for the first time in just the last few years (I'm in my early 30's now). Were your parents atheists, religious or did they never say?

I take it you are an anime fan! Cool stuff! Why don't you start an anime fangroup? I would certainly join!
