I meant that the Jewish kids could through the scrolls at the non-Jewish kids. At least to me, a non-believer seeing a scroll come flying at me from across the room, well it's at bit more scary....lol.

Having lived in Richardson and McKinney, I remember when Mexican heroin was the big "problem" in Plano. Mind you, this is way before the City of Plano banned carports.
But, yet again another use for the bible. ROLLING PAPERS!

Hallo Zurück,

HAHA! That cake is awesome! Yeah, I voted in the election. I'm pretty happy it passed. I try to avoid the AJ, the level of stupidity usually pisses me off before I get to the second page.

What does your wife do in healthcare? I'm the lady with the pill cup! Woo! It's fun doping people up :P

I like how you spend your weekends! I love globetrekker, I get to see all the places I'll never get to visit...I spent my Saturday night shakin' it at Club Heaven, being fondled by gay men...good times!

It's great to see sane people in Lubbock! Keep in touch!

Welcome Bryan,

I wouldn't worry about your German level; we already have a mix there. Looking forward to any contributions you make to our discussions.

Thanks, and happy birthday to yourself! I have a theory that only the extremely erudite and handsome are born on May 27th. I don't have any evidence to support this, but I'm confident it's true.

Thanks for the compliment! Whistler loves his clothes. He gets so excited when I get them out. He actually won best dressed at a dog parade at a Celtic festival here. I rescued him from the heart of tx greyhound rescue in San antonio. I'll check out your site. Y'all are great people for providing the rescue. I wish I had the space and time to devote.

Thanks Bryan. Aren't greyhounds almost perfect dogs? (Of course, to be perfect they wouldn't require food, water, or cleaning up after, if you know what I mean.)

Thank you for the greeting, Dr. Meaden. Am looking forward to taking in the ORIGINS group as well as the others on this site.

My father grew up in a small west Texas community in the 30's and was never taught evolution until he discovered it his own, and became a great enthusiast of Darwin's and of evolutionary theory. I carry on the interest partly in fond memory of my Dad and very much because of its compelling validity.

Best wishes to you and to all members. Am pleased to be on board!
