Nice to meet ya. I see we're also in the same age-range, turning 59 this month, as well as fellow drummers. I'm new to "coming out" as an atheist and looking for related-sites myself, so I'm a bit of a rookie here too, still finding my way around too. So how are things in Thailand anyway? Hope you got things there to keep you sane. Retired back in Sept and enjoyin' life so far! Get to play my kit more now, I have it muffled quite a bit, use brushes and the sound coming off the kit is very classic jazzy, if you know what I mean. I enjoy all percussions, play the congas/bongos also. lately I've "transposed" my conga playing to the drums; fills that have a more jazz/latin feel to it and am really enjoying the discovery of all this. Hope all is going well with you.
