hi Mike, thanks a lot for your 'report'. BR seems to be in peak form these days. Just stumbled upon some very cool photos: http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=Bad+Religion&s=rec ....pics by Charline Messa, Sao Paulo, Gas Festival)

hi Mike, thanks for your reply. Yeah, there are some good bands here in Europe: Sweden, Spain, and Germany do have some cool punk (hc and mc) bands that I know of, but they are hardly played on local radio stations or on TV. I receive only one TV music channel which mostly sucks (only gangsta/misogyny hiphop, chart shows, and youngster emopop like Tokyo Hotel, maybe you and your daughter have already heard of them). 'Bullet' I don't yet know (but thanks to you I'll look for them). Big punkbands in/from Germany are: Die Toten Hosen, Die Ärzte (funlyrics), The Beatsteaks etc. But I like some Swedish bands better like No fun at all, Randy, TINC etc. The Hives are cool two. And please do post a review of the SFconcert. I'm very inquisitive!!! P.S. And like Agent Chaos just mentioned my friends I hang out with suck as well, they all hate punk. So, these BR groups + their members are extremely cooool!!!

Oh ok. Awesome. I hope to see them live someday. My friends I hang out with suck. Either they never heard of Bad Religion, or they just don't like them. So hopefully I'll make some new friends that like BR.

California's a big state! We do have some great bands; too bad most of them are at least a six hour drive away from where I live (Monterey Bay). Usually I have to drive to San Francisco to see a decent concert; at least that's only two hours away.

Seems like there are lots of great bands in Europe; I especially like Bullet For My Valentine (say them at Taste of Chaos earlier this summer) and The Hives. Do you have any favorite European bands?

hi Mike, thanks for your reply! Just looked for X on myspace + listened to their songs. I like them! Enjoy the gig! Californians are privileged: all the cool punk bands + BR. At least Germany seems to be one of BR's frequented countries, so I can't complain. Have a nice day!

hi Mike, thanks for your reply! Pirmasens is Rhineland-Palatinate (southwest of Germany). I live in the Northern Part of Germany in a little village near Bremen/Oldenburg. Alas, I never heard of X. What kind of punk do they play?

hi Mike, thanks a lot for adding me + setting up the BR group. Cool, to find another BR fan, who's also a supernatural-phobe (maybe there will be some interesting lyrics-discussions or whatsoever in the near future, just a thought...). XXL-cool, that you take your daughter to concerts!!! Greetings from Germany!
