Thanks, dr. kellie, I appreciate the explanation! So far, I have found this site to be friendly and full of great information. I hope I can add to discussions :)
I suppose I can kinda take a bit of credit - he asked me out but it was my idea to go to the theatre (ostensibly to see what was on, I hadn't actually imagined seeing a play but serendipity struck) and I took him to the fountains - a true romantic heart beats within this chest - we sat on a park bench and hugged, could have stayed there all night like that.
Basically, yes, but it was a bit more complicated in my case. When I was much younger, I did try to leave Austin several times but always got pulled back.
If you'd ever like to get together when you are here, I would like that very much.
Greetings, Dr. Kellie ! I'd like to invite you to a group where we talk about anything on our minds, Hang With Friends. :D Yeah, funny how being gay isn't as scary as atheism to our relatives.
im sure it is absolute hell being gay and under the roof of religion and my hart goes out to everyone who had had to go through that hell the teens who kill them self s because of small town bigotry to the adults who are scared for life because of that they had to endure growing up. dan savage has started a wonderful sight called itgetsbettter.org to inspire and give advice to gay lebion and transgendered teens and adults struggling with hate and predigest
so sorry, I apparently missed your weather bitch! Yeah we've had a lots of -35C this winter, it's been around -20C all this week. I lived in Florida and Caribbean for several years, so when I returned North, I had to purchase winter apparel, I hang out in thrift stores and buy old silks and woollens, they're great and cheap, while everyone else is freezing their butts off. In Canada, silk and wool have practically disappeared from the market, it's all petrochemicals now :(
Hey Dr Kellie, does your friend work at "Purina Farms" science lab out in Grays Summitt? If so, I really could stop by and say Hi as I only live a few miles away. Love the dog shows there
Well I think you could get away with the bible stunt, but the koran...whole different ball of wax! Your life would be in danger!!! Which would further serve to prove your point...but totally not worth it, unless you could remain anonymous. But still, that book has been used to VILE ends. It deserves EVERY insult it gets!!!
