I think you should be welcome as a guest on the Bill Maher show. I think all of us should email his show and ask them to check out your site. Invite you for a try-out or something. Go for it, whatever it is.
I'll tell ya Dre, after being on the planet 66 years I've made my fair of mistakes with women but I'v also learned a few things. My advice to a guy is to keep his eyes open with a keen interest to what serves his best interest and expend his emotional energy only when the return on his investment suits him, otherwise its best to just politely move on. Life, whether we like it or not, is a lot like throwing spaghetti against the wall, if you throw enough of it some is bound to stick! Every step of the way in a relationship is an opportunity to take the next step or just step out of it and keep look'n. Do what's best for yourself and offer no apologies for that, you and the people you interact with will both be better off for it.
Am I the only one that relates the waiting for Jesus to come back is akin to Charlie Browns the Great Pumpkin? I mean seriously it's exactly the same thing when you think about it. People constantly waiting for something to come from the skies above and while waiting totally and completely missing out of the fullness of their lives. All the meanwhile everyone else is getting candy and gum and all sorts of neet stuff, and yet you got people out those in the fields waiting for nothing.
I like the way you think, I'd also love to see you become "the premier atheist-black comic" and if you ever do a show in Southern California fill me in on when/where. Be who you want to be and give it everything you got, the road to success is long yet worth it.
You're probably right in classifying Florida as one of the more liberal southern states. That in itself is rather frightening to me considering how much more extremely religious it is than what I was used to growing up. If this is one of the milder states I'm scared to see the more extreme ones. I also think you're right about taking a stand and not being afraid to express your beliefs. I found myself pretty rattled when I first moved down here and received some very bad feedback on my non-theist opinions. Now that I'm more settled I'm working on getting my confidence back and not being intimidated into silence. Thanks for the add :)
Thanks for adding me to your friends list. I enjoy reading your posts and blogs. I like you pic too. You look like your about 17 and you have a terrific smile. :)
I think it's hard for Atheists to find a match because we a so few and far between. We are also thinkers, not letting delusional drivel be spewed with out challenging it. This puts a strain on any relationship when one is living in LaLa Land.
I have all but given up on dating. It's hardly worth my time tip toeing through the "mine fields". If I ever get asked out again, I have a long list of questions I am going to ask on the first date. I also won't consider it a first date, but an interview. I hope that one day I find someone who is compatible, but not putting on my list of priorities at the moment.
