Hello Brian -- I missed your chat earlier and I noticed your comment on my webpage. So you want to comment on something posted on the Main page of the site? Then just click the discussion itself and the page will open to the discussion and then leave a reply to the discussion when you are at the page. Hope that makes sense. Have a nice day!
Thanks Brian. Yes, we certainly are alone, ultimately. I'm not sure what you mean by getting from the homepage to the comments page in one step. Which comments page?
Try this flowchart of top 100 by NPR for sci-fi/fantasy leads. It separates titles by description, so you should be able to choose some that involve emotions of interest.
We have a sci-fi fantasy club and a plain old book club. There's a singles group. In terms of meeting a single in person, I'd look for a local Atheist Meetup at meetup.com.
Please consider joining a group to meet people and talk about anything that's on your mind, Hang With Friends. You might also want to look at Geek and Nerd Haven.
Hi Brian! I myself have not been active here, but like the idea of community. To answer your question, no kids yet. I also have started going to UU primarily for the social aspect. Anyway, welcome aboard!
Hello Brian, and welcome to this wonderful world of rationality, truth and peace.
True common sense, helped by science, leads to happy freethinking wisdom as you well know.
We invite you to make good friends by joining the busy group "ORIGINS: Universe, Astronomy, Life, Earth, Humans, Religion, Gods, Atheism, Evolution, Darwin..." with 600 discussion topics and 3200 members.
The World’s Largest Coalition of Nontheists and Nontheist Communities!

Wow, totally forgot I wrote that.
Gonna post it to my Facebook page. :)
Hi Brian,
You should Friend me on Facebook. Will Davidson, Worcester, MA
I see we are both interested in the group Recovering From Religion. I am pretty sure I am listed in the section on Therapists.
It looks like we are both interested in creating a Humanist community. I often wonder if the demographics would support such a thing.
Welcome, Brian! Glad you could join us. :D

I'm a member of the Welcome Center -- so I welcome the newcomers to the site. I hope you enjoy it here. So nice having you.
Greetings! Welcome to the site!
