I am so happy to find atheists, as we all share the same thought, and all of us all over the world are one, as all of us are surrounded and targeted by the evil religious powers, and with their evil intents of religious slavery, tyranny, exploitation aiming at controlling, and governing the independent and the enlightened and the illuminated free thought and intellect.

On the right panel, amidst adverts, there is a little search tool, if you type your query there, it will do a Google search specific to Atheist Nexus. I haven't read any posts here on it, but there may be. Happy hunting :)

Welcome from me too :)
Wow, what an interesting and unique conversion story. Funny you mention compartmentalisation. I've known several people from India who do the same. Very highly educated in pure sciences, yet very religious. It's one of my most perplexing human behaviours. Tho I'm a third generation atheist, and nature lover. I spent only 10/43 years as a vegetarian. In truth I see
Homo sapiens as an omnivore and therefore reduce my meat consumption to a minimum, of +/- once a week, with some eggs/cheese and farmed fish +/- 3/wk. The subject still nags at me when I see the disgusting lives dairy cows live in (I imagine my breasts constantly sucked on by the milking pumps, eweuuuu...). I try to stick to organic labelling, as they have some lifestyle guarantees. I just watched The End of the Line, Food Inc, and Capitalism, so I'm having one of those "nothing we do is impactless" weeks, the only solution I see is voluntary reduction of population, sigh... Look forward to reading more of you.

PS I'm sure you have some interesting opinions on pet acupuncture!

Hello to Kevin Saldanha in Ontario. Welcome to this great meeting place with its rational people who recognise religion for the superstition and fraud that it is --- and that God and gods are nothing but fictions inside people's heads.

Terry Meaden
originator of the busy discussion group
"ORIGINS: Universe, Life, Earth, Humankind, Fossils, Religion, Evolution, Darwin..." with its 250 discussion topics.

We invite you to come and see, and to make good new friends.
