Larian, pleased to make your virtual acquaintance! I've been told I can be entertaining too. A South African upbringing do make for interesting stories.

That's the one I didn't recall the name tho'.

Fascinating documentary I think. So much of the futuristic stuff they talk about I'm using right now.

Mate, being American is not to be considered a handicap. ;-)

Regarding h2g2 I've been registered with them since let me see..... 2nd March 2000.

h2g2 was initiated by DNA (Dougls Noel Adams) who saw the emergence of internet as a way of building on-line communities based on hyper text and new forms of web-coding. (h2g2 uses XML)

h2g2 is definitely not a fan site - but an attempt to embody the spirit and work of The Hitchhiker's Guide

Allo. could be worth linking to from the Douglas Adams group. It's not a DNA fan site but was founded by him with Digital Village before the BBC bought it off him.

The underlying software (called, somewhat sweetly, DNA) now forms the basis for the BBC's message boards!

They clearly know where their towels are.

Thanks for the add but I don't recall joining a DNA fan group recently or even a realization of what "Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters" even means lol. So far I am only part of 14 groups the last time I checked them. If you could and have the time please try to clear this up for me haha.
