Hi Stella...thanks for the note. My partner lost his mother and they were very close. I think the thought of never seeing her again upsets him too much. He has the fish on his car and we have a plate of the Last Supper in the kitchen...I'm ok with it...we atheists can be very tolerant of others...hehe!
I'm just finishing up "The God Delusion" soon and moving on to "The Bible According to Mark Twain"! I'm usually simultaneously reading one fiction and one non-fiction book because I have so many I want to read. I'm always scribbling down books I hear about in a little spiral notebook. This time of year is the best time to catch up on my reading. What are you reading...anything I should scribble down??
ha ha ha!! I still speak to doc from time to time - but Mr LB on the other hand! hee hee hee, jeez - even his name pissed me off - so patronising! LOL! 'LIGHT - BRINGER' hee hee hee! As if HE has the answer to all of life's mysteries and can show us all of that light that HE has been so fortunate to have discovered! ha ha ha ha ha! I liked him!! hee hee!
I remember one time (not long after i first 'met' him) that he said that i was such a good thinker and whatever it was he said - i don't recall; but soon after wards (when he disagreed hee hee) i was so evil and narrow minded!! hee hee hee!! I like how people change their whole opinion about a person when they suddenly find that they disagree on a matter - very open minded and tolerant i must say! hee hee!!
