O.K., so I want to increase my social life, so I am going to talk like I just met you at some social gathering, because this online communication stuff is still fairly new to me. So, in response to your greeting, I would try to learn about what else we might have in common, besides this website, and not in common.
I see that you are from Oxford, U.K. Did any of the Olympic events and/or people spill out to your area?
Dr Meaden: I thank you for the invites (I just now saw them). I think I'll stay away from groups right now. I'm a New Socialist, and I have some pretty strong viewpoints; I might get into trouble in a group. I'll try to stay away from politics! Thanks again! E H Smith
Dr. Meaden are you familiar with the work of Acharya S? We are doing are best to promote the information provided through the the mythicist position. Acharya has been great in helping to promote our efforts. Based on your bio it seems that you had an early interest in the origins of the myths behind the modern religions. Our goal right now is to help share that info with others.
Dr. Terence, Really like where you have had the privilege to be coming from for a very long time. Very interesting. In regard to the Origin concept may I offer the following to see if it is any where close to where you may be going with the group? If |U|, Absolute Unalterable Nothing were ever the case, then it would still be the case, "Please pardon the pun". If |U| is other than the case then what is left over is |A|, Absolute Alterable Nothing. Such logic indicates the Origin of our reality derived from a state of Change. Interesting enough though, one of the characteristics of an Absolute Change State is an ability for change to change to a Changeless State, or an |N|, Absolute Nothing State, equivalent to an |U| State. Such logic for me at least suggests our origins derived from an ability for change to occur, and has the potential to eventually dissolve into an |S| Absolute Still/Static State, of an inability for change to Occur. There in an absence of a need for any kind of intervention for a reality to be able to occur in a first place. Please let me know if any of that made any sense. Lonnie. Peace 2013
