Yeah. Saw that, and a video clip of some very short cuts from the show. It looks like fun, and I love the basic plot idea: a coal miner's son wants to be a ballet dancer...must have freaked his dad right out. (I've always wondered what Ronald Reagan's initial reaction was when Ron said he wanted to do the same thing. Heh.)
I hope I'm not bragging, but I'm just so excited I want to YELL! A dear friend just bought tickets for me and a friend to go see "Billy Elliot - the Musical" when it comes to Los Angeles in April. I LOVE musicals! He said this one was the best he'd seen in years, and he goes to a lot of shows at the Kennedy Center in DC.
I haven't gone anywhere just for the sheer fun of it in years. That's why I'm so excited. I feel like a kid!
I knew we were similar since the first time we spoke, but it's starting to get spooky! We both like Wonder Woman (well, you REALLY like her), Star Trek, and Harry Potter (especially Snape!). We are both left-leaning introverts. Although you seem to have a thing for cats that borders on the obsessive... :-) And did you know I was born in Texas?
ISTJ here. Extremely introverted....in truth, socially avoidant....strange how I got myself into doing work that requires me to be positively friendly and open and welcoming to hundreds of people....they even have to fill out surveys on me and i am judged for how "nice " I am....., count to 3, and open the door, say "good morning, nice to see you"....really I belong in the lab, but life goes on..... no group on here for ISTJ but that's OK....Just saw your post in the side bar....have a happy new year.
Yeah we do have a lot of things in common Steph. But now you are confusing me. You are a member of left-wing atheists AND conservative atheists? What game are you playing at? :-P Well going to go continue reading "Confidence Men", I guess I'll be seeing you soon since you are following me!
