Thanks for dropping by my page. Austin, eh? Do you participate in ACA (Atheist Community of Austin) at all? I met Schilling once, from the Non-Prophets, when he moved to Denton. He's an odd bird himself, but I always felt he added a nice contrarian element to the show, even if I didn't always agree with him. He sometimes makes it down to Austin and they put him back on as a guest commentator.
Anyway, love Austin, used to visit more often when I still had friends going to UT and/or working in Austin, but not so much anymore. Great town, though.
So ... do you have any impressions of the story, of what Spock was going through and reacting to with his first exposure to humans other than his mother? Having seen the early relationships between human and Vulcan with ST: Enterprise, I thought I had pretty firm ground to build on with The Warp Seven Engine, and that is in large part where it came from. I'd really like to hear more of your (and others') thoughts about that.
Thanks for making feel welcome. I live in a very small town and it gets pretty boring being the only atheist around. I'm sure there's several... I just gotta find em. Thanks for accepting my friend request!
Thank you Steph, I really enjoyed your photos as well. I used to have a couple of cats. Aya & Jayne. They were the first life my husband and I cared for as a couple. When we moved, almost a year ago, I had to donate them to 4 paws, but kitties have always been my favorite of the animal kingdom. We really enjoyed giggling at your funny collection. (=
