Here's a little something you might want to have a look at. It's not science-fiction and it's not about cats either ... but the guy I refer to in this post is still one of the best writers I have ever run onto.
Thanks for YOUR comments on my Star Trek piece and blog. I DO have two other ST pieces floating around somewhere. One isn't finished, the other isn't properly polished, and both are so old that their only incarnation is in pen-and-paper form! I may do something with them eventually.
I wonder if we should establish a more general science-fiction "fan-fiction" group for this kind of stuff. Whachu think?
Thanks for dropping by my page. Austin, eh? Do you participate in ACA (Atheist Community of Austin) at all? I met Schilling once, from the Non-Prophets, when he moved to Denton. He's an odd bird himself, but I always felt he added a nice contrarian element to the show, even if I didn't always agree with him. He sometimes makes it down to Austin and they put him back on as a guest commentator.
Anyway, love Austin, used to visit more often when I still had friends going to UT and/or working in Austin, but not so much anymore. Great town, though.
