There is texas comicon in June (in San Antonio), that one I know as a definite.
I would look up though,
Texicon for tabletopish stuff
 Screwattack Gaming Convention
 BGG.Con
Owlcon (this one was just in February though, so I would look into it)
 GATO con

Yes, I did take the time to look these up. Yes I have a preference, check out Screwattack specifically :)

Hi, thanks for asking.  Doing better - got adjusted this AM to straighten out a problem with my lower back.  It's getting there, but it ain't utterly THERE yet.  Trust me when I tell you, you don't EVER wanna have back problems ... EVER!

Heyo! It went well, the main reason I went (an actor named Nathan Barnatt) was kicked out three hours into the first day though. I basically nerded out the whole time and bought Mini's for DND (oh yea, super nerd) and walked around. PAX as well as the Reason Rally have made me truly understand the difference between regular sneakers and walking shoes... I need walking shoes, this body ain't what it used to be :-p

How are things on your end of the internet? Still run by tubes over there, or have they upgraded to boxes :-D

Hi Steph, Thanks for the graphic. I was really impressed by your having added a description; most people don't think of that when sending me things. hugs Jonathan

Steph, what a sweet greeting. I am having a perfect weekend, just enough warmth to get a little time in the garden, and I'm preparing a celebrations for my granddaughter in recognition of her fine grades and graduation. We are having one of our favorite salads, pineapple, mango, kiwi, spring onions, jalapeño. Thanks for the greeting and hope your day is special as well.

From a distance I sense him, his thoughts calm and peaceful,

Contained joy and reason, and wistful rememberances

of a childhood unassuming.

He paused, I stood up, to confront this monster,

"You cannot harm me" I cried, "For I am God, your master".

"Yes, I know" he said, then smiled and took my hand.

"How can you do this, come to banish me? Didn't you hear,

I am God", "Yes I know" he replied, "but I am MAN".

Hi Steph. Thought you might like to hear the first poem I wrote post religion. Had to dig it up. Got most in a spiral book, and random quotes also. Put them together when the mood strikes. It isn't to good, but you do get the drift. Anyway, have a good one. Be well. Peace.
