Well, many use an avatar, of some sort.  It's accurate enough, in lots of cases.

I just hope I don't run out of anything around the house, tomorrow.  I'm not a big fan of retail-closing holidays.

Well, not really an avatar.  I generally just slap a picture of my face up there.  Addie did a Photoshop job on that one, for me, so I thought I would use it.

Fortunately, I just had to do one dinner with my family, on Saturday.  Relatively low-key holiday, compared to usual.  I'm not much for big fuss, for socially-mandated celebration times.

Thanks for the Welcome Steph. Love the wonder woman pic. Reminds me of watching it with my Dad when I was a kid. I think we had different motivations for watching the show back in the day. :o)

Thanks-

Ayn Rand, the mother of American libertarianism and very outspoken atheist said it's OK to enjoy Christmas ~

"The charming aspect of Christmas is the fact that it expresses good will in a cheerful, happy, benevolent, non-sacrificial way. One says "Merry Christmas" - not "Weep and Repent." And the good will is expressed in a material earthly form - by giving presents to one's friends, or by sending them cards in token of remembrance." ~ Ayn Rand

If Ayn says it's OK, Fred is in total agreement and says go for it, eat, smile, feel good, do nice things for people, make plans for the new year, enjoy shopping and, if you feel the need, gather with friends in a church. I won't mind, it's a grand and free country - hell, if you've got some good eats at the church, I just might stop by!

Oh, by the way, I am definitely in favor of material earthly things and electronic tokens of remembrance which I'm hereby sending ...
