The photos are of the inner harbor area of Baltimore. Nearby there are two state of the art stadiums: one for the Baltimore Orioles (baseball) and the other for the Baltimore Ravens (football). Also nearby is a cruise ship terminal. In a year or so I plan to take regular cruises (I will be 65 years old).

My pleasure, Steph! I don't jump into discussions very often, but was glad I could share some information - you've started off with a great story! :)

LOVE you profile pic.

I have a WW belt buckle, which has been my favorite accessory for years.

I'm in school for the summer too, actually.  So I have a week of class, then a couple weeks "off" and then back to class.  I say "off" because I'll be doing a practicum then, so really there is no break.

Thanks for the vote of confidence and the welcome.  I feel more like I'm fitting in now.

Your comment reminded me to do the next lesson. But it's about text, which I mastered long ago. After reading the objectives, I jumped ahead to do the assignment, without bothering to look at the lesson. Easy Peasy.  Thanks for the hug.

Yeah Lynda Carter was way hot as the original Wonder Woman, even as a young boy I wanted to watch the show for no other reason. Which was your favorite Star Trek? TNG was probably mine, but Voyager was also something really special. Janeway might not be Wonder Woman, but she'll do!

Thanks for approving my request! And Lynda Carter is awesome.

He's doing good Steph. In fact, he got the job! =D  He starts at 5 pm (CDT) tomorrow with orientation. Not sure if he's going to be part- or full-time to start, he did ask for full time, but we'll see what happens. We're just relieved - and in fact, feeling he's a bit lucky, having just been fired just a bit more than two months ago.

Hope you have a great week too!

Thanks for the add.  I've been a member for awhile but I've never been active.  I'll have to try to remedy that.

I haven't seen much of it yet, but I'll be doing some poking around to see how well, if at all, I'll fit in these here parts. Thanks! =^_^=

Hi back! I'm happy to see you're a Humanist. I was a teacher for some time also. My first professional job was as a high school mathematics teacher in Maryland. You must be pretty disciplined to be training for Team Challenge Triathlon. I think it is wonderful.
