Thanks, Steph. We had some drama about flooding, but managed to avert disaster. I was switching from one battery for the sump pump at 4:30 Am, and when I woke up at 9, it was already depleted. I threw on clothes and ran out, lucky to get another at an open Pep Boys in time. Now our power's back on, and the pump is secure again.
The photos are of the inner harbor area of Baltimore. Nearby there are two state of the art stadiums: one for the Baltimore Orioles (baseball) and the other for the Baltimore Ravens (football). Also nearby is a cruise ship terminal. In a year or so I plan to take regular cruises (I will be 65 years old).
I'm in school for the summer too, actually. So I have a week of class, then a couple weeks "off" and then back to class. I say "off" because I'll be doing a practicum then, so really there is no break.
Your comment reminded me to do the next lesson. But it's about text, which I mastered long ago. After reading the objectives, I jumped ahead to do the assignment, without bothering to look at the lesson. Easy Peasy. Thanks for the hug.
