my typing skill is almost as poor as my eyesight.. please forgive me for calling you steve !!! i am very exited as this is my first ever self indulgance regarding my deepest and most powerful beliefs, i am not a university educated man, but pride myself ( very quietly) merely on my thirst for knowlege. my journey may be of some interest or , as i sincerely wish, helpful to any fellow human who is stricken by social stupidity at every level by bigots. i am uncomfortable on the pc and still miss pen to paper for expressing my self, i feel this site may invite like minded people to help dinosaurs like me to share what i feel is an untapped seam of observational kindness and wisdom. thanks johnno.

Hi Steph S. thanks for the welcome to atheistnexus. While in my past I was a professional biological scientist I now have a strong interest in philosophy, story writing and poetry. I'm still a strong advocate for science and especially the environment and global warming which has seen incredible battles over the last few years in Australia. We have a carbon tax but a lot of blood was spilt trying to get it and if the conservative government gets in a our next election this year it could be cut again. In other words the battle never seems to end. LOL

Heh heh heh heh heh.  Yeah, the work is important.  Must not pull up a video game as a distraction.  Work and ... okay, maybe just 30 minutes, while I'm thinking of things.

*looks at the clock*  Damn.

Heh, well, I just saw your popup, about you entering the game.  I haven't been playing Steam games very often, lately.  I've been trying to get work done.

Hello fellow atheists!  I have joined this site in an attempt to find other rational individuals, such as myself, and to promote a current charity drive that I am trying to get going for the Oklahoma tornado victims.  I have managed to get many groups from around my area, including the Beyond Belief Foundation to back me on this endeavor.

I am located in Newnan, Ga and have my own atheist group entitled "Coweta County Atheists".  I am currently being backed by Spaulding Co.…

Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film video

Posted by Debra Stevenson on May 21, 2013 at 2:37pm 0 Comments

There is a video of the Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film.  The man isn't demon possessed, there are likely no 'real' demons.  He's just delusional and doesn't want to accept personal responsiblity for his own behavior for his own dysfunctional life.

There is an ad that reads ' Do you support 'traditional' marriage? Vote Now"!  .

No, I don't support 'traditional' marriage because there is no such thing. I support heterosexual and same-sex couples marry each other legally , yes.  'Traditional' marriage promoters largely do not believe that heterosexual women are co-equal to their husbands.  Their only purpose in 'traditional' marriage is to sexually satisfy their husbands if they can and raise children and do all…
