Well I am glad you are almost done. I took a class that started in March, so it doesn't end until late June, which means I have still 3 papers to write including this one coming up. Man I am whooped! But I guess they are trying to cram a lot of education into a small period of time, so I guess that's good! 6 total papers <shaking head> never had to do so much research in my whole life. Hope I can get used to it.
Hey Steph! Thanks I thought I could go for a change :-) It was either this or Wanderer-Wayfinder, or Odyssean Wanderer. Both are straight out of the Odyssey. But maybe later, I like this one. I don't know if I'll be taking another class right after this one. I have a month to decide. I'll probably have to take a break, but we'll see. I had been really wiped out after that Odyssey paper (ironically enough), and I have another paper due in a week and a half which I barely even started yet. I gotta get a move on! So I hope I won't be wasting too much time around here until it is done. Ah, but I love it here so! :-)
Thanks for the welcome message. I live in Ft Worth. Have been in law enforcement for almost 40 years now. Maybe one of these days I'll find a profession that that interest me...:-)
Looking forward to joining the group chats on the site.
I noticed you said you were in the biology field. My major in college was originally organic chemistry, but as I couldn't find any work as such in 1973 due to the Arab oil imbargo and the formation of OPEC back then, the oil companies and related companies were laying off their own chemist left and right. I figured I'd give law enforcement a shot(no pun intended). It's been a very stable career, so I guess it's been a good choice.
Lost so much time for school with the kids being sick so much, and wasted so much more on top of that from lethargy and depression. But getting back into the swing of things I think/hope! So you're a Monty Python fan eh? So cool! So I was strolling down Christopher Street just now, reading "Rogue Herries" by Hugh Walpole and I suddenly came a little bit peckish!
