Hey Steph! Funny you should ask, I was just finishing up my paper on the Odyssey, which I have now posted in my blog for your reading pleasure! It has been a very rewarding experience, but it also weighed on me a great deal and I'm glad its finally over. Halfway done with this course! Hopefully I will start on another one when this one is finished though, which is in about 7 weeks. How go things with you? I wish I could kick everyone's ass that's bothering you, starting with that buffoon Rick Perry. Alas, most of the time, all we can do is endure...
Thanks! I just got home about an hour ago, and now I have to catch up with The Pet Press Events Calendar because Lori needs the whole thing...proofed and ready for Paste Up... by tonight. She's going to press Monday night. I'm kinda excited about this issue, and I wish I could share the cover story with everyone; it's about Uggy...or Uggie...the dog who stole this year's Best Picture.
In the meantime, I need to pull myself together, have a cuppa tea, and maybe some leftover Barbecue Pork (very smoky!) Chow Fun. Die- VOOON!
I'll be checking back into A/N tomorrow. I spent 3 days glued to MSNBC when I wasn't playing with Mr. Duncan...shaking my head at the rampant stupidity in certain sections of this country.
PS: I'm thinking sympathetic thoughts to Dick Clark's family, and to all the people whose lives he touched. He was a thoroughly good man. I met him casually a couple of times when I was working for the local PBS station, and he did make everyone he met feel as though we mattered to him. Can't get any better than that.
