It sounds as if my account was hacked. I changed my password - that should help, but if it doesn't, let me know. I apologize for the annoyance, but know that it wasn't me.
I'm not sending you anything, especially not coupons.

Hey Alex,
I'd love a Homer Simpson ringtone that says, "I don't even believe in jeebus." If it has slightly more, that's ok, but I wouldn't mind if Homer said it at least twice. Once for shock value, and once for people who heard it to confirm what they just heard. My phone only rings for 16 seconds so it doesn't need to be any longer than that. Another ringtone that would be great for me and I'm sure for many others on here would be a George Carlin rant on religion. Anyways, thanks for doing this, I've wanted this as a ringtone for a long time...
Good luck with the German... Be tough writin' German, I bet.. Some of those words look a foot long.. I see you live in Ontario.. I drove a semi for many years and have been through there more times than I can remember.. Stayed at the T/A truck stops up on I-10 and Millikin.. Fought the traffic on the 60 freeway many times.. Don't miss it a bit.. I retired last Feb. and live in a quiet little town halfway between Dallas and Houston...
I don't even TRY to mention souls. But that's an interesting take on it. I don't understand why people try to use fictional characters as an example. :/ What good does it do if you use something fictional? Then there's the, "You're not a believer, so your word means nothing!" stance that I get a lot. I'm pretty much burnt out on trying to convince people of my point.
Just 3 nicknames, though? I can outdo that! :P I think I have at least 10. I don't think I've been called my full name regularly for years!
That's the spirit, dude! :D I like the way you think.
It was a few years back... one of their key arguments was, "Frankenstein came to life because he had a soul! Souls are REAL! You're stupid!" And I was quite confused. I thought Frankenstein was brought to life through electricity? I guess now lightbulbs have souls, too, seeing how they 'come to life' via electricity. XD
Oh, jeez. What a potshot! Maybe you got awesome superpowers from being dropped. They're jealous that you have the magical ability to be SMART! We'll call you... Smartacious Man!
I was mostly offended by their completely obvious topic change. Another guy said that my logic was flat and empty because of Frankenstein. Actually, most the arguments I get are either irrelevant, downright stupid or a bastard child of both.
I, for one, see no reason to be hatin' on implants, anyway. If it boosts your confidence, by all means, go right on ahead!
Irrelevancy is a common argument. One person told me that my argument was invalid because my breasts were fake. I was like, "Who would perform breast implant surgery on a 14-year-old?" :P But still, they insisted!

tool is a very atheistic band, although they have a predilection towards south-east asian imagery and mysticism in some ways. Maynard James Keenan is/was pretty conflicted about his religious upbringing and it shines through in their music. Artistically though they are incomparable with any other band I've heard.
The reasons I suggest the Facebook are:
There are other atheists there already.
It will help our group here expand.
The more we understand that we are not "alone" the better off we'll be.
At a free thought convention I talked with a guy who had recently become an atheist. The guy needed support. Even his wife took the attitude that it was just a phase he was going through. They guy was in his 50s.
I know it's not much but it's something. And honestly, a "little" thing can go a long way.
