Hi Patricia, glad you can find comfort in an uncaring non-cognitive universe. Something theists cannot. I too find that I'm comfortable with just having experienced being part of nature.
I also, cannot understand why anybody would want a skydaddy figure, nor an eternal existence.
I do have a few devout clients, though all my close friends are fellow atheists. I just think religion has had it's day and it has outlived it's usefulness.
Secular Humanism is the way to a better future for all.
Hi there Patricia..thanks for the comments ..nice to meet you I am sure.
its really amazing what we and others put ourselves through trying to figure out how to use common sense I will be looking forward to getting involved with this creative web sight looks like star treck adventures into possibilities and realities.
I have lived in new west only a year moving from Vancouver ... I enjoy my place along the Fraser river the view from the 8 th floor facing the river with not a roof top in sight very inspiring I enjoy the board walk walks for sure, anyways nice to meet new people... thanks for the hellows.. ps one of my best friend of course is my 17 year old youngster Murphy a very handsome furry wonder.
If you put that science/religion timeline picture in your pics, I can "like" it ( saving it for future reference, since all "likes" are saved). It'll get buried in Hang With Friends comments after a day or so. Thanks for sharing it.
You're right about the petition, I'm afraid, but thanks for the note, anyway. I don't think Whitefish, Montana is close enough to the border for a Canadian to complain about a tacky-looking "shrine" there. Air pollution, maybe? ;>)
Love you cat slide show, especially the tortie. (The Grey & White person is quite handsome, too, but I have a soft spot for torties, and orange fellows. We've had so many over the years.)
When I've heard American's on TV, they say AASSSS-BURGERS. We are short with the As and say P not B without too much emphasis on any syllable. Think the term might be getting dispensed off. Maybe I'll have to change the name of my website?
