If you go to meetup.com, you can enter "Pittsburgh" and key words like "atheist," "freethought," "skeptic," etc. You will find several groups that meet regularly in the area. I belong to one group, but I live just far enough away that I rarely attend. It is a nice bunch of people. And they have joined together with other groups, including those from several colleges to form a coalition of freethought groups to share info and join each other's events.

You can also type in other key words for other interests---just about anything you can think of: art, writing, photography, hiking, sports nuts, foreign languages, travel, freelancers, Brazilian forro dancing, and a "burgh adults" group that has several events a week. They are great groups to meet like-minded people.
