You are right about the "hit or miss" aspect. There is no telling why some get a lot of responses, and others none. I think the biggest one I ever saw was on Atheist Singles entitled Why are you Single? I think it had well over 200 or 300 responses, but the owner left AN abruptly and either deleted it, or it vanished when he closed his account.

Not to say they don't care, but considering the number of people on AN, only a small percentage spend any time on the site, it seems. I'm in a number of groups that I post to, but can't get any response from anyone.

I noticed Leslee's new group, but I am on 27 groups already (though not all are active, like I said), and I'm on AI email list already.
