I realize there are also Christian and Jewish Arabs. It's just cool to meet people who have broken away from Islam, so I can hope. There's so much more pressure against apostasy, in the modern Islamic culture. Relatively speaking, my apostasy from Catholicism was nothing.
I'm originally from the suburbs of Chicago, myself, but I never really learned anything about the Muslim culture there. I was relatively sheltered, at the time. I think I was only vaguely aware of Protestants, at the time, never mind whole other religions.
