Interesting quote.  I knew he was an atheist, but I've never actually read Asimov's words on the subject.  I guess that in that time period, things like that weren't a subject of mainstream media.

I worked my way through the entire Chariots of Iron archive, myself.  Even the news coverage is still pretty topical.  I downloaded the .mp3 versions and listened to them on my smart phone while driving around for work.  Alas, they've been having real-life issues lately, and haven't been regular for a while.

Non Prophets Radio is more or less regular, at least.  That's another atheist podcast, done by the Atheist Community of Austin.  They've got an archive going back to July 2005.  It's something like 140 episodes.
