I've used Craigslist, but don't feel comfortable with it for some reason. Guess I like to actually see and touch something before buying it. I even tried to sell my truck on CL. (No takers--I live out in the boondocks.)
Regarding your comment left on my "newspaper demise" post: despite early failed attempts to get the local news off the internet, for some reason, I now have full access. Perusing the headlines, my original suspicions are confirmed--the printed version is a waste of paper and money (mine). Free is good!

As to "Alonzo Archimedes Future," I refer you to Gregory Peck's opus, Capt. Newman, MD, which featured Eddie Albert as the above-mentioned Mr. Future, though Albert's character was more conventionally known as Army Col. Norval Algate Bliss.
Your comments on my post are much appreciated. I've decided I'm not going to jump into the deep end of philosophical analysis of the subject(s). "Shallow Hal" is my mantra!
Hi Future Welcome to this world of rationality and peace, where the application of pure common sense has proved to be enough to lead to the open freethinking wisdom common to non-believers. We invite you to join the busy group "ORIGINS: Universe, Astronomy, Life, Earth, Humans, Religion, Gods, Atheism, Evolution, Darwin..." with 700 discussion topics and 3600+ members. http://www.atheistnexus.org/group/originsuniverselifehumankindanddarwin Terry
After you've searched for topics of interest in "Groups" above and in the "Forums", don't forget to look at recent activity which hides along the right margin of the page all the way at the bottom.
On a personal note, I've developed an animated gif technique, sort of “pull quote marries slideshow”. Samples are scattered across various groups, but you can find them easily by going to my twitter account. Each tweet has a link (after the description and before the hashtags) to a visually rich example here at Atheist Nexus. If you like them, please follow me

An odd flick here and there, but worth your time.

Greetings! Welcome to the site!

Welcome, Future! Glad you could join us. :D Some of our groups are "intelligent" and others are more casual.
Please consider joining a group to meet people and talk about anything that's on your mind, Hang With Friends. You might also like Geek & Nerd Haven.
I also recommend Eco-Logical and Climate Concerns, since the climate is changing so drastically.
