I'll have to let my friend know about it when we get our monthly haircut. I suspect July will be busy at Jim's barber. People pull up in little Shriner cars, and gaggles of kids stream out, and into the little barber shop. Fun fun fun!
Coffee went up a nickle? Why those good for nothing robbers!
Old people you say? I'd fit in fine at the Stockholm then. My friend is about 67, and I'm turning 50 next month. All my great grandparents were Swedish, but I don't know if I like their pancakes. Jim's Barber is right by Forest Hills Rd. next to Tractor Town. It's a one chair place with antique tractor magazines, and goofy signs all over the place inside. I should take some pictures before he retires.
Holy buckets you're right, I'm listed #7 top member! Wow, I gotta quit that, or I'll blow my anonymity ;-)
I go to Rockford every month. My friend and I get our hair cut at Jim's Barber in Machesney Park on Hwy #251. After that we head to Rockford for breakfast, shopping, or whatever. Maybe we can do breakfast sometime? We need new places to eat!
It's funny, I saw your house picture and thought "that looks like a house in the town where I grew up" in Quincy IL. The I looked on your page and your in Rockford. That wasn't too far off.... Welcome to nexus.
