Hi there! Thanks for your comment on my page! I listen to the podcasts from ACA and I try to participate when I can. I've been so short on time. Hope you are having a nice weekend.
My aspergers is mild, but explains so much in my life. I would never had known if it hadn't have been for my son's diagnosis. I write about our experiences on a website & blog.
Would have taken a lot of courage to leave a marriage. I was agnostic (leaving toxic pentecostal christianity) when I met my hubby (agnostic but had some 'traditional' anglican exposure). He wanted to get married in an anglican chapel at a school he went to. I was happy to oblige (but would have quite happily got married in a garden). My mother wasn't happy about it because 'catholics & anglicans aren't real christians.' Only recently I am identifyng as atheist (that word seemed scary). I ticked non-religion on the recent census, my hubby left it blank - he doesn't think he fitted any of the boxes
It is nice to have someone so active on the first day of joining. I chat with another guy in Texas and he tells me about all the extra crazy that goes on there.I was reminded of something George Carlin once said," The world is a freak show and being born in America gets you a front row seat," adding that being in Texas must be a backstage pass.

Oh yeah -- the Bat Cruise. I used to give tours for Bat Conservation International -- at the bridge.
I hope you have a nice week! Thanks for talking with me.
I'm from Texas too! I have a friend that has Asperger's.
