Heh, right there with you.  I've got a pile of about 20 or 30 that I still need to read.

WWZ is very oddly serious.  It was definitely a bit of a mind-screw.

I love your website.

I'm also from Texas - I live in Austin.

And I love science too.

Have a great weekend.

Ooh, nice assortment of interests.

I take it you've read World War Z? I just recently learned that they're making a movie based upon it. It'll be interesting to see how that one turns out.
That guy sounds like he has some major issues. I get the impression, from his writing, that he's actually preparing for the inevitable.

It will take a huge book, dear Emily Dietle, to tell the story behind my atheism. And it will be an awful strange one.

There hardly goes by one day without feeling the suffering that I encounter from being an atheist. If there is someone to help put it in a book. It is going to be a story of a kind; People will learn the modern oppression styles that goes on today unnoticed. So many people acting like demons in a chain that never ends.
Sorry for being late to answer this mail. I have filed it to come back to it later, and forgot about that. Because I am busy running away from demons most of the time.
Sincerely

Thanks--good to have atheist friends and allies in the good fight to be free from being told about someone's personal saviour. Regards, Ed B.

Greetings, Genovive! I notice you haven't been active at Atheist Nexus since Feb. <sigh> Sometimes it can seem a bit fragmented, with different groups for every interest. Please consider a group for socializing, where we talk about whatever's on our minds, Hang With Friends. :D You might feel more at home.

RE: Employer barring your storage of a firearm in your vehicle.

Go to gunowners.org. Find out you your Rep's are and write them a letter. Anonymous or otherwise, and mention your employer's violation of Federal or State law. This is election year, and you know how eager they are to make voters happy!!!
I personally would also write two or three anonymous letters to your employer and print word for word the law pertaining to your location about having the right to keep firearms in your vehicle. I would also include the link or actual legal statute code. This may cause them to "update" their policy pamphlet/booklet and or put out a memo.

You can also ALWAYS mention the words "third party legal representation" to help them 'see the light'. I hope you feel justified in protecting this right to the point of taking an active response to their 'mistake'. Good luck, and thank you for joining. ;)

This is at Wells Cathedral in Wells, Somerset, England. The steps lead right to the chapter house and straight on to other offices. Yes, it is an impressive and beautiful place. You will notice the indentations in the steps from centuries of wear. Glad you like the photo. It is one of my favorites.
